Private Lots – Trees, Trails,  Blue Skies & Wildlife

Looking for your own piece of paradise.  Look no further, here you will find everything you are looking for.   Just north of Edmonton 1 ½ hours through Athabasca and west to Baptist Lake, there is a private setting with  acreages  that have so much to offer.  All of these lots are over 3 acres of partially cleared land with open skies.

This is  where you will find  quiet and private  peaceful settings.   Spend your weekends here, or make this your permanent home.  This is paradise in the rough, looking for a home base so you can park all your toys, and enjoy the  back trails of this northern country side.  Minutes from here is the TransCanada Snowmobile Trail that takes you along miles & miles of  groomed trails where you can enjoy the great  outdoors to a whole new level.  Along this trail you will see some of the most gorgeous wilderness, and have the opportunity to visit some of Athabasca history by stopping at a Trappers Cabin along the way, and the chances of seeing the abundance of wildlife is amazing.  These trails are home to deer, moose,  elk, bear, coyote, beaver, fox only to name a few.

In the summer time enjoy the  quading, and boating on Baptiste Lake, and in the winter snowmobiling & ice fishing.  The opportunities out here are endless.

As history tells us, between the years 1880 and 1914, Athabasca Landing, as the town was then called, became known as the “Gateway to the North,” a jumping off point for the Peace and Athabasca trading rivers flowing to the Arctic.

Athabasca is situated in a valley along Highway 2 and the Athabasca River, with a population of 3000, and home to the Athabasca University, Athabasca Multiplex, Pool, Ball Diamonds, Playgrounds, Tennis Courts, and 3 Public Schools and more.  Looking for a town that has it all, and only 1 ½ hours from Edmonton, check this one out.  Athabasca is home to a great summer Farmers Markets with locally grown produce, Rodeos, car shows, entertainment and focal point that leads you lakes & Alberta Trails in the area and parts of the northern country side that you only dream of seeing.  When you have a free Sunday, take a drive out to this picturesque town, explore the countryside, the lakes and trails, getting lost is not a problem.  The friendly residents of the town and country will always lend a helping hand and quide you back to your destination.  Of course once they find out you are a visitor, they will regale you with the history, and all this great Northern town and countryside has to offer.
